Errol's Plates

Alas, Errol is now officially Utahn as well. I shall remove his old California plates tonight. What do I do with old plates, anyway?

I wonder how long I could have gone without any officer noticing my plates had expired. Perhaps because they were out of state plates it might have been harder to notice? Or maybe cops here just don't care?

They expired in April. I noticed last week. Oops.

Still say you should have gotten the vanity plates: ERROL

I wouldn't have risked the expired plates much longer. I let my Utah plates expire from June until October. My brother was driving my vehicle on the way home to complete the registration online. The kind officer gave him a choice of a hefty fine or impounding the vehicle...

Ha. Well, you're legal now, right?

I am legal, and so is Errol. Sail, you're right, I should have gotten those plates, but when I got to the DMV I forgot what it was I was going to put on them. I actually like my plate numbers though. For some reason they're easy for me to remember. Plus now I have two cool CA plates as souvenirs of... something. What do you do with old plates anyway?

Hang them on the side of your barn.
